The human brain automatically assigns importance to anything they focus on repeatedly. And, I mean anything.
By the time someone becomes a client of mine, they are completely exhausted (mentally) with all the marketing techniques they’ve been told they “should” do.
“You have to be on Facebook. Start posting on Facebook.”
“Do you have the email addresses of your clients? You need to nurture your list and send a few emails a week.”
“Have you heard about Twitter? Oh...you just gotta be on Twitter.”
“What about YouTube? You’re posting videos on YouTube...Right?”
Just when you thought your job was to be the best coach or consultant around and to create the best online course… you find out you need to add three more careers to your already busy business.
Now you’re told you need to become…
...a marketer
...a copywriter
...and, now, a broadcaster
Phew! Didn’t think this online game was going to be so difficult - did you?
Well, don’t worry. I have a message for you:
Forget all that white noise.
I’m going to solve this for you right now. And, the system I going to tell you about will take nothing
more than 2 to 4-minutes a day, Monday - Friday.
Ten to twenty measly, little minutes per week, for an entire marketing system.
Here goes.
Every day get out your phone and record 2 to 4-minutes of video (turn your phone sideways please).
Talk about whatever inspires you or whatever you happen to be thinking about that day.
Talk about your past experiences as it relates to your coaching or consulting practice.
Make it short, short and short. NO MORE than 4 minutes.
The video can be about anything. Don’t overthink it.
What’s the most common question you receive when a prospect reaches out to you? Make a quick video about it.
What’s your client’s #1 fear? Make a video talking about that and a quick way you can put your client at ease.
Upload your video to your private Youtube account.
Have a virtual assistant or someone in your office upload the video to Facebook one day to create a post.
The next day, have your assistant transcribe it real quick and email it out to your list.
Another day, just leave the video on Youtube and populate your channel.
One video. 2-minutes. Half-a-dozen marketing uses.
You can do it while you’re driving. (Make sure you have a cell mount to be hands-free). Record the videos anywhere, anytime. Keep it short. Do it every day.
Viola.
An entire marketing system that KEEPS YOU IN YOUR PROSPECTS MIND every day in less than 4-minutes per day.
PS - Extra Hack: Hire a low-tier copywriter. They can add some punch when they transcribe. They should also be able to upload your videos to Facebook and come up with a short, pithy summary for Twitter. They can also create "catchier" subject lines for your email.
PPS - Make sure you turn your phone sideways. No one can stand watching a video that was filled upright on a cell phone.
